American Airlines Center Parking Lot Striping Project

Since launching Advanced Texas Striping, we have been privileged to work with many delightful clients on projects of all sizes. In August 2023, we had the honor of performing a parking lot striping project at the American Airlines Center in Dallas. In case you do not follow local professional sports teams, this is where the Mavericks and the Stars play their home games. We know that many people in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex have questions about the work that we performed at the American Airlines Center, so we are happy to provide the answers.

What Was the Scope of the Job at the American Airlines Center?

The job required striping and marking three outside lots as well as two floors of the Lexus Parking Garage. We had to correct some errors made by the previous contractor. For example, some of the ADA stenciling was backwards, which is an improper designation that could conceivably have resulted in a fine. We also had to fix starting points and straighten lines. In addition, we had to perform extensive power washing to prepare the pavement for striping and marking.

What Are the Details About the Paint?

We used approximately 250 gallons of Sherwin-Williams SETFAST Acrylic. As you probably know, Sherwin-Williams was founded in 1866, and the company began building its reputation as an innovative manufacturer of high-quality paints for all purposes. The job at the American Airlines Center required the use of four colors, which were yellow, blue, white, and black.

How Long Did the Project at the American Airlines Center Take?

We started the parking lot striping project on August 17, and it took us five days to finish. We performed our work at night to minimize any inconvenience to our client.
